TLS 1.6.4 released

While it has been seven years since TLS 1.6 was officially tagged and bagged development on this binding to the OpenSSL library did not actually stop, even without releases getting announced since then.

Today we are at TLS 1.6.4.

Changes for version 1.6.4

  • Accepted SF TLS patches #12 and #13 implementing support for SNI, and TLS 1.1 + 1.2

  • Accepted patch for bug #53.

  • Fixed a non-static string array used in call of Tcl_GetIndexFromObj(). This was a memory smash waiting to happen. Thanks to Brian Griffin for alerting us all to the problem.

  • Fix for different openssl versions.
